  • IS THERE MUCH AROUND DOCK 5?

    Located just over the canal from the city centre, there couldn’t be more to do.

    Whether it’s popping to the local Co-Op, a getting those steps in at the local park or a drink in the local after work, there’s plenty available to you in a short five minute walk.

  • HOW LONG WILL THE TENANCIES BE AT DOCK 5?

    We understand that life moves at a fast pace and things might change for you. That’s why when you first move in, your tenancy will be six months.

    After this, we can offer you a more flexible tenancy to fit in with your plans. We always want to do right by you and offer a bespoke service when it comes to your tenancy so if you would prefer a longer tenancy or a tenancy to suit you, just speak to us.

  • WHO IS MY LANDLORD?

    Your landlord will be ForLiving.

    We offer high-quality homes for sale, shared ownership and private rent. We manage a range of homes across the North West, stretching from the Fylde Coast in Lancashire to Knowsley in Merseyside and Salford.

  • WHAT TYPES OF APARTMENTS ARE AVAILABLE AT DOCK 5?

    We want to help you find an apartment to help you live your best life, that’s why we offer everything from studio, 1 bed, 2 bed and 3 bed apartments, plus 3 and 4 bed duplex apartments to 2 and 3 bed townhouses.

  • WHO WILL BE MANAGING THE PROPERTY?

    Our friendly staff are always around at Dock 5 for anything you need, from your rent account or finding the best vegan restaurant in town!

  • CAN I REDECORATE?

    We’ve tried to get your apartment looking the best we can, from neutral tones to the mirrors for taking selfies. But if you do want to make any changes, please chat to the team first.

  • HOW SAFE AND SECURE IS THE BLOCK?

    Your home and the community around Dock 5 are safe and secure by design. With fob access and CCTV, security is never something you’ll have to worry about.

    For added security and simply being on hand to help, our 10 hour daytime concierge service will be around to assist you on your day-to-day needs to make life that much simpler.

  • ARE PETS ALLOWED?

    If your fur babies are the most important thing in your life, don’t worry! As long as your apartment can accommodate a pet, we’ll always look to make room for them.

  • WHERE IS THE NEAREST TRAM STOP FROM DOCK 5?

    As the work commute starts again, Dock 5 has all you need.

    Exchange Quay is only a 10-minute walk away or Cornbrook is just across the canal with a refreshing 15 minute walk.

  • HOW FAR IS DOCK 5 FROM MANCHESTER CITY CENTRE?

    You can be in Spinningfields with your first cocktail in just under a 25-minute walk.

  • CAN I ORGANISE MY OWN UTILITY PROVIDERS?

    Yes, we’re not precious, you can choose who your water and electricity provider is.

  • ARE ALL THE SERVICES SUCH AS CONCIERGE AND GYM INCLUDED IN MY RENT?

    Simply put, yes.

  • WHAT HAPPENS IF ANYTHING IS WRONG IN MY HOME?

    All repairs can be reported at the click of a button through our handy app. This will be shown to you when you move in.

  • ARE THE APARTMENTS FURNISHED?

    Not feeling a trip to Ikea? We got you! 70% of our apartments are furnished.

  • DO I NEED TO PROVIDE A DEPOSIT AND WHAT HAPPENS TO IT?

    As we said, we want to provide you with as many options to make your settling in as smooth as possible. That’s why we have two deposit options:

    You can pay a deposit equivalent to five weeks rent, which is protected through the Tenancy Deposit Scheme and is refundable subject to conditions when you move out.

    Or for a less upfront cost, you can take part in the Reposit scheme, where you pay one weeks rent upfront which is non-refundable.

    Either way, our team are here to find the best option for you.

  • DOES MY APARTMENT COME WITH WIFI?

    WiFi is available in your home but it doesn’t come with your apartment.

    Need to binge watching your latest box set? Or set up your 4th zoom call of the day? Simply sign up to our WiFi provider when you move in!
